About the Event

Integrity and responsible conduct in research are critical not only for the efficient and wholesome development of scientific knowledge but also to ensure public trust in the academic work. It is with this crucial importance in mind that the University of Porto, and the Institute for Research and Innovation in Health – i3S, with the support of the INTEGRITY project, invite all for an afternoon of talks aimed at presenting the research integrity-related initiatives present within the University of Porto environment and its partners. The speakers with different backgrounds and experiences across Europe will present in this event findings with regards to integrity perception within the academic community, the promotion of research integrity and examples of some of the existing structures at the University of Porto and Europe for research integrity.
